Man Utd to take advantage of Christmas-dreaming Bournemouth

Fitness is life, the obese are lame. Without fitness, you can’t win the game!

Have you read what Ole Gunnar Solskjaer said about some of his Manchester United players ahead of their game against Bournemouth tomorrow?

The Norwegian made yet another comparison between football and basketball. Now, I don’t know what his obsession with basketball is all about, but I do think that basketball might be as tough as football.

But it’s the second part of his quote that got my attention: "Some of them are sore but you should be absolutely down on your knees, because it's worth it.”

Finally! I’ve had enough of footballers who appear to get injured so easily that it has been refreshing to see this Man Utd team of late. It’s not just Harry Maguire or Marcus Rashford who have been battling like warriors. Even that cutie Daniel James has put his body on the line, especially in the game against Liverpool.

They have also won three straight games now, so that’s something to think about. Especially with Bournemouth kind of struggling - they haven’t scored in three straight games!

I thought they might focus their attention on scoring goals, but they seem to be caught up in Halloween instead.

Well, that’s fine. I mean, footballers should be allowed to have a little fun, right? But then it appears that they are already planning for Christmas!

Whaaaaaat? That’s still a little far off, isn’t it? And it seems to have affected their performances in training. Just check out this clip:

I’m not sure what’s worse. That the goalkeeper fumbled an easy shot, or that the striker couldn’t finish that chance.

I am backing Man Utd for this. A 2-0 win for them over the Cherries!
