Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola was furious, because he thought it was a chance for him to prove that he’s the best manager that England has ever had.  

So instead of giving his players some rest amid the fixtures pile-up, he brought them back for extra training sessions, going up to three sessions a day. He has also hung banners everywhere in the training ground that read: “Man City 10-0 Southampton”. No surprise as to what he’s aiming for then.  

It also seems like he’s experimenting with a formation that plays only one centre-back. Considering that only Fernandinho seems trustworthy enough, it’s understandable. That has made both Gabriel Jesus and Sergio Aguero happy for once, because they are not competing for a spot in the team this week.  

Still, I doubt 10-0 is achievable. All things considered, take City to thrash the Saints 5-0.
